Mbali has been doing a lot of work in terms of marketing her business through various physical and digital channels. She has made progress implementing most of her recommendations and as a result, she has seen a major improvement in her sales and responses from old and new customers. Her social media page has attracted many customers who have engaged with her.
Mbali has further customised her products from feedback by using new materials which will make her customers more comfortable when wearing them. She has also been able to identify the marketing strategy which brings her the most customers as ‘’pop-ups’’. One challenge for her has been the loyalty cards which she relates to seasonality, as it is currently winter. She expects her sales to skyrocket at the start of spring when people have many events planned and plans to implement the loyalty programme then. “I’ve definitely grown as a business”, Mbali tells us.
