The winter has been rough on ZA Etc, says Elana, but despite lower sales than expected, ZA Etc is doing well.
The Imperial College team has provided very useful suggestions, most of which have been implemented or partly implemented.
The store looks fresher and cleaner, and a small rebranding has been done.
Marketing has also gotten new traction, including through the opening of a Tiktok account.
Za Etc has started to be more discerning in terms of income streams and aside from the Cape Town outlet, has opened a new store in Parkhurst in Johannesburg.
