4. Project Dyad

Jessika has just returned from an inspiring trip to Europe, taking advantage from the relative quiet of Cape Town’s winter to take a break.

She also stresses that the reason this trip was possible was because Project Dyad is doing well, notably in terms of online sales, as suggested by the Imperial College team. She’s also managed to get a new wholesale shop in New York, which has now placed a second order twice the size of the first.

Jessika has not yet implemented the price increase recommended by the team, but plans to introduce that in September, before the Cape Town summer season.

As per the team’s suggestion, she has increased stock of black products, and sales of these has increased. She is really grateful for the tools the team developed, including the tracking sheet, and plans to spend more time feeding information into the sheet.

She has signed up Project Dyad to the Cape Town Design Institute, and will be tapping interest in the American market in August.
