Thabo was unable to give us a face to face interview on camera, but we managed to speak to him and get an update. Unfortunately, due to personal challenges, Thabo had to pause operations temporarily. While his business is not currently active, he remains committed to the vision and impact of his enterprise.

During our follow-up, Thabo expressed deep appreciation for the insights and strategies he gained through the GE programme, which he believes will be instrumental in relaunching and strengthening the business when the time is right. He continues to engage with some of the programme materials and recommendations in preparation for his eventual return to full operations.

Despite the current pause, Thabo’s entrepreneurial spirit remains intact. His resilience and ongoing commitment to sustainable community development are commendable, and we look forward to seeing Umbuso Isi Akhiwo resume its impactful work in the near future.
