For Sian, this progress is in large part thanks to social media advice and direction that has raised its profile. People are dropping in and reaching out via email for commissions, and while interest is clearly up. This still needs to translate into solid revenue and may mean revisiting pricing.<\/p>\n<p>One area still in progress is separating the art pieces from the functional homeware, such as coffee mugs and plates. Most customers are currently restaurants or people after homeware, but the plan is to move further into the &#8220;art game&#8221; over spring and summer. The Shopify site is recognised as a weak point that needs more work to generate orders.<\/p>\n<p>Activity across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook has widened the studio&#8217;s reach and brought in commissions. Resourcefully, Sian used ChatGPT to write the copy for the Shopify site, which she believes has helped the studio appear first when people search for ceramic studios nearby. Google listings are set up correctly and projects are coming in, even if they are not yet hitting the bottom line.<\/p>\n<p>The Instagram page now looks great, and the next goal is turning that engagement into sales.
