Mimi Jikolo has been running her events management and event planning, decorating and catering company for over a decade.

She has built a reputation beyond her hometown of Langa when it comes to catering for weddings, funerals, and other large events. Unsurprisingly, business suffered under covid, but since then, Jikolo Events has been enjoying a significant recovery.

Despite this growth curve, Mimi is looking at ways to further improve her processes and operations, especially when it comes to marketing and pricing strategy, but also in terms of administrative processes and contracting.

Her ambition for the coming years is to be get back on top of her game, and grow her staff from the current 2 to around 10 people.
