6. Teiva

Priscilla reports steady progress at Teiva, noting that things have been improving as she works to implement ideas the Imperial team provided. Initially, the plan was to get all products into all stores, but after reflecting post-engagement, Priscilla decided to focus first on a single product, her natural, aluminium-free deodorants, reasoning that this is a genuine point of differentiation compared to more saturated offerings like soaps or shea butter that other vendors already sell.

Before pursuing retail placement, Priscilla is prioritising regulatory groundwork, specifically FDA approval, which has been in progress for about two months and is nearly complete. Once secured, the plan is to approach every viable shop to get the deodorants onto shelves, using this focused product strategy as the foundation for broader retail expansion.

Priscilla extends her warm thanks to her Imperial team. “The engagement opened my eyes to new ways of thinking about the business” she says, and urging the team to stay in touch: “I am still waiting on product reviews from team members who purchased items”, she laughs.
