We met an upbeat and jovial Siki over (what else…) a wonderful cup of coffee on his business premises in Khayelitsha. Siki provided us with great update on progress made over the last few months.

For starters, the company’s website (link) is now updated and back online. They also completed the goal of designing a new packaging with an improved look and feel, and made good progress with wholesale clients.

Other items in the pipeline are still in the “work in progress” phase, including the discussions with the City of Cape Town to obtain certification to enable selling to government offices, and registering on the City’s vendor portals. Training of baristas is also planned in the near future. Finally, new products are in the pipeline, including t-shirts and other merchandise.

Siki is very keen on getting input from the team on the website and extended an open invitation to the team to come back to South Africa as soon as possible.
